I thought so too at first. But it does not make a lot of sense. This forum and youtube are full of guides, way better than I could explain 👍🏼

Trying Ferodo RS2500 pads for the first time. The pads required grinding off a tiny bit of paint on the edges to fit. So far these are much quieter than the stock pads.

Also installed titanium pad shims.

Track day next Friday!

Please report back on how those pads perform. I've been considering them for track days.

Autotecknic splash guards from IND installed. Getting the plastic rivets in without any special tool was a bit of a pain, but I managed it in the end.

Does it go in between the liner?

This past week. Full (well almost with a few exceptions, e.g., doors and top section rear arches) wrap. XPEL Ultimate.

Not sure what you mean. Here's picture from the other angle. It goes between the bodywork panel and a plastic bit.

Is this what you installed?

Had the 1200 mile "break-in" service done.

Proceeded to drive like a hooligan while Tesla drivers shook their heads in disbelief.

Gentlemen (and I use the term as loosely as the english language will allow),

Before you scroll down to the photos, I have a story to tell you.

Now at 1 year in, with over 18k miles on the odometer. Absolutely LOVE this beast in every way. It is the perfect car. And, yet, starting 6 months ago, I began to contemplate buying the Cayman T when the car finally becomes available on our shores. Why? Why in the world would I do so, when I LOVE the M2C, and the M2C is perfect in every way in terms of my real world needs, and my preferences? It's got 4 seats so I can fit my 3 and 6 year-olds in the back, ample trunk space, more power and torque than I could ever need, and a very subtle style that lets you fly under the radar...

That last point is the issue. I know! I know! People SPECIFICALLY choose the M2C because it is perfectly understated. But, here's my problem: I'm a middle-aged Asian dude. I've been good at math and ping pong all my life. I'm the guy who sat at the front of the class and dutifully took notes. I'm the guy who scrimped and saved every penny, eating ramen every night, plain ramen, just so that I could max out the 401k. I'm the guy who takes the kids to their grandma's on Saturday so that his wife can go to the native plant society meeting... you getting the picture?

I'm the world's most boring motherf***er!!!

The M2C was supposed to be my mid-life crisis car! It was supposed to let me be the young, virile hooligan I never was! But, the HS M2C flies under the radar! A racing yellow Cayman T, with decals that shout "Cayman T" all over it does not fly under the radar!

So, I prepared to head down to the local Porsche dealership to put a deposit down for a Cayman T allocation... and then my inner Asian came out and said, "Dude, seriously? You're gonna have 2 performance cars sitting in your driveway, massively depreciating at the same time? When you already have the car you love?"

And that's when a lightening bolt of inspiration and self-knowledge and self-acceptance struck me. It said, "Cpt. Obvious, it's time to embrace the gaudy, laughable, horribly tacky M-Performance decals. You loved them when the M2C launched at Ascari. But, you didn't sack up and get them, because you were afraid. You were afraid of being laughed at. When are you going to stop letting fear rule your life? When are you going to stop being a ping pong playing boy, and become a real man?"

Well, friends, that day is today! Today, I embrace who I am! I am a paunchy, middle-aged dude, trying desperately to cling onto his waning manhood, and goddammit, I am proud of my M-Performance decals!

Yes, when you pull up next to me, and see me in my business attire, headed to my software job, yes, shake your head ruefully as you mutter, "There goes another poor bastard with a bad case of mid-life crisis, over-compensating with a muscle car..."

Behold, friends, today's mod!

Looks absolutely beautiful. You can always add an exhaust system and CF roof to continue that mid-life crisis.
