Dinan/ Forgeline GA1R looks like a nice choice. Pricey, but even lighter than the 763m Bmw wheel.

Considering most high quality forged wheels plus tires will run you 8k ish, it's not that much more in relation.

The 763s are nice and a good value. What's the point of getting F1Rs given they are virtually the same design for a ton more money.
Go with a powder coating on the 763s or get the gold ones.
Oh, pretty sure I saw 788s are forged.

So you suspect that the production code for the 2QT and 29U contain a mistake ? Seriously ?

  • 2QT: frequently in USA-spec VINs, rare in EURO-spec VINs:
    • English VIN description: 19"m Law.ý-sp.788 M For. Mt.
    • German VIN description: 19"m Lmr Y-sp.788 M Ge. Mb

  • 29U: frequently in EURO-spec VINs, rare in USA-spec VINs:
    • English VIN description: 19"m Law.ý-sp.788m For.mt.black
    • German VIN description: 19"m Lmr Y-sp.788m Ge. Mb Schwarz
Deciphering:
  • LMR = Leichtmetallräder = leight(weight) metal alloys/wheels
  • Y-sp. = Y-Speicher = Y-spoke
  • Ge. = geschmiedet = For. = forged
  • Mb = Mischbereifung = Mt. = mixed tires (front and rear: different tire size)
  • Schwarz = black
Conclusion: BMW option code '29U' 788M wheels = all black finish, unlike BMW option code '2QT' 788M wheels.

Get the 763M but personalize those by giving these a gunmetal treatment, and call it a day.

Orbit Grey is a tad darker than gunmetal, but IMHO better than the all-black version. Unfortunately the rear wheels of the 763M of the M4 CS don't fit the M2.

I mean, what a way to celebrate the release of the M2 Competition, am I right? But remember like I said earlier, 8k+ is the normal rate for a set of wheels in the spec for most M2s,

As an example,19 BBS FIR wheels run 7.6K USD, a 20 inch set for the BBS RID costs 8.6k both without accompanying tires (it'll probably tack on an extra 2k (conservatively)).

IND sells the Carbon revs at the total set cost of 11.6k USD. Again, in relation, to what the wheel is and what it's perfromance gains are, it's not that much more relatively speaking. A group buy would lower that price by a good margin. Making it a deal for people who are able to get into the group buy.

But again, it's just wishful thinking.

Are the 437 wheels forged ? In Canada. It is an option to spec these wheels instead of the 788 as a no cost option

The good thing with these wider rims is they can take 275 front and 295 rear without giving you the 'mushroom' effect.

I would use 4x front 437M as my winter wheels if I had an M2C and run 245/35/19 square. But there is no way in hell I am paying $3600 for 4 437M front wheels. I didn't expect them to be almost $900 each, although compared to BBS pricing for similar weight I guess it isn't crazy.

Great - thanks. Lighter option and more aggressive looking than the 788.

I would definetly go for a KW Clubsport 3way and a OZ Ultraleggera Wheelset in 10x19 and 265/30 R19 all around.
The car is so good with this Setup!

I live about 15 mins away from Carbon Revolution, but won't be doing those. However, yes, those are amazing wheel sets.

If I still had the GT4, I may have considered the CRs. With the M2C I'm pretty sure I'm going 763M.

"Take her somewhere"... You are in a wonderful relationship mate, you might want to consider ending it yourself.
