All manual gearboxes have a launch control system, it's called "the drivers brain".

It controls the arms and legs of the driver in such a way as to cause rapid acceleration of the car.

Amazing technology....

In all fairness, I have been driving MT's for 35 years and I have f'd many attempts at a perfect launch. DCT/PDK launch control is frickin great!

Also had my run-in service done today at 1850km. While beeing there either way I also let them replace the brake fluid with Castrol React SRF.

It seems the engine noise is considerably louder after the oil change, didn't expect this to happen but its quite a difference.

Really wondering what type of oil is used for the break-in period...

I went with the standard BMW oil. At the moment this was the best choice of all possible options.

PPF and tint last week. Wrapped roof in gloss black while was at it.

1200mi service complete. This week I ordered BM3, VRSF catless down pipes, VRSF hot and cold charge pipes, and VRSF intakes. ASRKRATOS turbos should be out soon...

I have also laid four coats of Dodo Juice Supernatural and sealant over the PPF.

Snow tires

Bolted on the snow tires mounted on 437s. Actually prefer the way these rims show off the calipers.
