19" Winter wheels

Went for a test drive of the M2C and to my surprise found the demo car already equipped with the winter wheels. 19" rims look good in my opinion and should be easy to clean.

I don’t want to thread jack but will any 19 inch bmw wheel with a similar offset work? Someone near me is selling 550xi rims (style 332,19 inch) Will these fit on a M2c?

Bolt Pattern is the same.
New tires are 245/40/19 all around.
For the new wheels, I believe the offset is 33 and is a 8.5 inch wide wheel.
When I run the calculator it doesn’t look like anything stands out as a huge size difference.
Am I missing something or should these fit. Thanks in advance.

That looks like F10 wheel, those are 5x112 bolt pattern, so no. And they are heavy.

19x8.5 or 19x9 ET 20-30 are good fit

I was close to pulling the trigger on the 641's for winter until I foolishly looked up how much they weigh. 29 and 30 pounds. Back to not being able to make a decision.

It's not cheap but you can run 4x front 437M and 245s all around. The front 437M is almost identical in poke because of the width difference and offset difference, it only sits 2mm inside of where the normal rear would be.

They aren't that heavy. The 8.5x19's are 13.18 kg and the 9x19's are 13.8 kg.

You can look them up on http://felgenkatalog.auto-treff.com/ along with most other BMW's wheels (no 788's on there yet)

Guess he meant rim + tire. Believe the tire is around 10 kgs or slightly more so a total of 24.5 kg is possible

My plan is to be with 763s for winter as well. I can see lots of advantages for this option:

1) 763s will be lighter than the set of 19s, which are proposed by BMW as a winter set. having lighter wheels means significantly better comfort going ober the bumps, which are unavoidable during winter time
2) the design of the 763s seems to be the best that the snow is not getting stuck in rims, causing vibrations etc
3) 245 & 265 or 245 & 255 will not provide seriously worse traction at snow in comparison to the recommended 245 all-around

Bmw recommends 235 all-round for winter tires with both 640 (18") or 641 (19") rims
But I don't understand how you can fit a 235 tyre on a 9" rim.

Door sticker shows also 255/35 for the 18" rear winter. Suspect that both 235/40 and 255/35R18 could support chains while anything larger than 235 on the 19" would not.

Why putting 235?
245 front + 255 or 265 rear are fine.

I had m3e92 in the past and instead of buying a set of recommened set of winter rims with 235 I went for 245 + 255 on a summer set of rims with no issues.

If you own a car like M2, you are definitely an enthusiast and thus know how to drive a rear driven car in snow conditions.
