Drove it, cleaned it and then made a mirror out of it using Swissvax Concorso and my bare hands...

As usual, not something I did today. I pulled the center speakers out on Wednesday. All hail proper stereo separation. I was expecting the HK in this car to be worse than the HK in my 340, but it's actually a lot better. No bizarre 200Hz signal spike, and less drivers to drown out the under-seat subs. I think I can actually live with it for a while.

I must say the bass is surprisingly good in this car. I like to listen to reggae and it is crisp and punchy. That being said I’m forever turning the volume down to listen to the other sounds which are sometimes Wagnerian

I think they added a bigger amp with the addition of the touch screen when compared to the OG M2. Sounds a LOT better when modded though:

I have upgrades that will go in someday (Hybrid Audio and Morel speakers, Alpine DSP, Jehnerts, JL Sub, amps...), but I don't really have time to take the car in to have it done right now. If the audio was as bad as it was in my two 3's, it would be more of a priority.

Adding exhaust tips later today.

If you mean tips on how to paint the muffler I don't, but will ask the shop when I pick her up tonight.

Been looking for good exhaust tips may I ask which ones you're installing?

What made you go RKP vs M-Perf? I'm debating the two myself...

At first it was between the M diffuser (because oem) and RW Carbon (because price), then found the RKP on IND. the RKP lines just look a little meaner and sharper to me and felt it was perfect compromise between price and quality.

I'm assuming the fit is perfect? It's interesting, some of the RKP stuff is MORE expensive than OEM for the F80/F82.

I haven't seen it live yet, shop sent me pics. He's telling me it fit perfectly, will see it live in a few hours.

for the price you can’t go wrong, they are a much better size and make a big difference.

Realised I may have the 3 sheets of metal Tourettes noise below the A Pillar. Argh. Will have to follow Carl's fix if it persists.

Didn't stop me from taking the long way home though. Love this car.

Looks great, for the front where you have the 3 black inserts are those just decals if so where did you get them at?

A local wrap shop did it, wasn't a pre cut decal. Said the cut was easy
