That's odd. I submitted my preferred dates just last week and got confirmation within two days, so it's not because I was booking way in advance.

Yes, I even called and was told Nobody is getting their 2019 car before 9/17. Talked to a supervisor the whole deal. My car will be sitting there waiting. Maybe, it is US customers only?

I will most likely be there about the same time as you. Have you thought about trying to get into the BMW M HQ for a tour? I'm looking for a way to get an invitation.

Not yet, I am sort of winging it.

Originally, I was taking one of my kids, but now they will be in school. I might push it to 9/18. Fly out SFO to Munich on Sunday / pick-up on Tuesday. Not sure yet. It would be cool to all meet up and do a drive?

I have requested the same dates - Sept 17/18/19. It's been more than a week and I have not heard back.

I received a revised order today. Apparently the order was bumped up to week 33. This new build schedule would make my preferred ED dates possible. The final dates are still pending.

I got welcome package, but ED office contacted my dealer to confirm 9/17. When I talked to ED department they said dealer would be notified within 48hours. They can not confirm my exact time on the 17th until purchase order is filled out. In the past I have been able to move days around up until a week of pick-up, but 9/17-9/19 might get busy? Again, I wanted August and they told me no US customers will get their cars before 9/17. We shall see.

If someone wants to organize maybe a mountain pass or even the ring? Driving around the Austrian Lakes is a lot of fun as well, twisty with roundabouts and beautiful scenery.

I am set for pick up on September 20th. My build is Alpine white, Exec pack, DCT(against my better judgement) black wheels, blue trim. We do have quite a cool trip planned as we will be in Europe for 2 full weeks. Munich, Lake Como, Monaco, Paris, London(McLaren factory tour),Amsterdam, Nurburgring, and stopping by Ruf Porsche on our way back to Frankfurt.

That's a nice trip! You might even have to get your break in oil changed during your trip.
I'm just curious, did you get the pick up date that you requested?

I will have the 1200 mile service done in London as I did the exact same thing when I picked up my M4 back in September of 2015. And yes I did get the pick up date I requested.

The build week is the week it finishes, so he's fine.

AlpsRider and others.

I backed out of my allocation, mainly because I have little kids and have been driving them around more and more and I did not want to deal with the coupe.

My other car is a 1M.

This car is going to be amazing!! I have owned an M2 and M3F80 at the same time. As soon as I heard of this package, I had to have it, but life changes as seen above.

Enjoy this beast!!! It is going to be a winner, IMO!!
