I don't think so....
The housing market is exactly like that if not worse in San Francisco Bay Area

It‘s not the house that kills you here

...it‘s the shaving foam!!

The amount that fills you two bags of food will fill en entire car (skoda octavia size) in germany for example...

Zurich is on of the most expensive if not the most expensive city in the world. Sometimes this just sucks...

Anyone found any new configurators online?

When I'm in Switzerland, I eat at home most of the time because eating out is soooo expensive. On the other hand wine is cheap compared to the US and used cars depreciate like a crazy :-)

I'm still waiting for allocations...................

Oh I know how expensive it is lol. I have friends living there and keep hearing the same stories from them as well Another place I find extremely expensive is Norway. Visited Oslo about 7 years ago and still remember paying 15 Euros for a cup of soup

The best way to get groceries in Suisse is to go across the border to France or Germany to get the expensive stuff. That of course is only feasible if you live in a border town like Basel, Zurich or Geneva. Just don't try and smuggle butter, they will fine you and take it. :-)

Still no news on the US configurator! What is going on in Munich?

BMW is always so slow with launching US configurators. They are behind on a bunch of models, before they even get to the M2C.

Exactly! I don't expect US configurator to go live before August TBH.

It's really disgusting. The place next to me is a dump and went on the market for 1.3, sold for 1.6

I don't know what I am going to do. Stay in the area and figure out a way to buy too little for too much? Just keep saving and then move someplace else with less jobs? Been here for 6 years hoping for a dip but the prices have been going up every year.

Exact same thoughts are going through my head everyday lol. Couple years ago I was against moving somewhere else and thought at some point the market would crash but now moving out of Bay Area doesn't sound all that bad at all. It's only getting worse as you said...

Yeah if it crashes now, would it even go below the prices you saw a couple years ago? Over the last 30 years the worst you could do is buy at the height of 2008 and by 2014 the value would have recovered. That's the worst. So six years, most of the other dips you would recover after a couple of years. Still hard to let go of that much money for such small crappy homes that are often in not great areas.

We don't have any car taxes on cars in Czech Republic. We pay 100 EUR per year on road tax hahaha

Also shaving foam is cheap, but wodka and beer is cheaper than water, and a decent meal is less than 10 EUR.

Welcome to Czech Republic, the country where we smoke the most and drink the most. Girls are sexy and cars are cheap.

Absolutely agree with you about Czech Republic. I can remember once back in the 90's when i was eating in a small restaurant near karlovy vary, i paid 2.50€ for the meal and it was one of the very best i had in my entire life. The cook used to cook for the tsar in earlier days.. i also learned that one does not have to order beer, you have to let them know once you want no more beer!

But you forgot to mention one detail... all the sexy chicks you have go to switzerland sooner or later

C'mon BMW Not/Applicable! At least get it online so I can play around with it and dream of two additional doors added to it.

And the photo for the sports seats is the wrong one... Someone really has been doing a crap job at BMW NL. Also you can opt for a German spoken car.

I find it a bit of a fail that the manual and DCT are the exact same price. You don't get 4K off in NL if you opt for the manual.

In the end, my spec is € 64.775,00 NETTO

Normal sales price is € 105.676,00 including VAT and local taxes.

For those of you who would like to know what I paid in Czech Republic... That is about 64,082.61 EUR netto excluding a lovely discount I received. I think my M2C is about 6K more than I paid for my M2.

I think the prices are more or less right. Netherlands has some totally brutal taxes (on cars) as far as i know. Much pricier than in Switzerland..
