I bought a set of the door seals after hearing about them on this thread. I found one “guide” online to install them, pictures were helpful but that was about the extent of it. Not sure if it was just me but I found them fairly hard to install. I can see it being ok if you have tiny hands. Also, guarantee someone pinches there hand in the door installing these. I’m not even 100% sure they are in correct.

I put them in last night and then put the car back in the garage. I have a feeling they will make a difference. I think someone previously mentioned this, when I was installing I could see the headlight shining through the gap. There isn’t much there to stop noise coming into the cabin. I’ll let you know if I can tell a difference.

Hey guys, am planning to purchase both the IND front reflectors and rear reflectors (attached). But... uh... anybody know of anyone good in San Diego area who will do installation?
Probably gonna get roasted for not doing installation myself, but... again... I'm Asian, and you know, we're not exactly well known for mechanical aptitude. I can make a MEAN chow mein. Like, seriously, my chow mein is the S***. But, you know, installing car parts... not so much. Any help would be highly appreciated!!! |

Coded „easy entry" (think that's what it is called) using bimmercode expert mode.
When i enter the car the driver seat moves automatically backwards to enable an easy entry. Once door is closed and start button is pressed seat automatically goes forward to normal seating position. Same happens when i press start button to turn off the car, seat moves back again to enable an easy exit. What a wonderfull thing to code (3000 SM_GLOBAL -> EINAUSTIEGHILFE -> Modus_FA_SLV)

I got mine installed by EAS as well. I got the rear reflector matched with paint too. Now I feel the rear is too plain...

Yeah, I really like the Acexxon horizontal slat rear reflector insert. Every picture I've seen, they seem to provide really nice contrast. Come on, man! You know you want to do it! |
