With good forged wheels and CCB you can save about 70lbs total

Exactly and that's why I went with AP Racing BBK which saved 50+ lbs over my stock M2C brakes. I also sold my heavy ass 788M stock wheels. I have lightweight 763M wheels (same ones on the M2CS) for the street and 18" APEX wheels for track. In other words, you don't necessarily have to follow the CCB route to save significant amount of weight. The replacement cost of CCBs and the fact that you cannot fit 18" wheels on them are total deal breakers for me.

From the first post update do we know if "room for one more model" is referring to the upcoming CS or something after that. My guess is just the CS as it has yet to be officially confirmed.

Nope, nothing yet. I seem to know more by way of this forum than the dealership. I'll inquire this week to see if that's changed. You would think they would know something if orders were opening next month. I think orders opening before December is optimistic.

Maybe the turnover is really bad? The average sales guy doesn’t seem to be n enthusiast and doesn’t know much more than what they’re required to memorize. They’re more interested in your credit score and the “range” you want to be in for a monthly payment.

Sorry if this was all ready mentioned in the prior 100 pages..
Is there going to be a PTS option for the M2CS? Super easy to have done on M3/M4 and even on wife's 2016 M340i.. |

Europeans and many other places in the world get a minimum of 4 weeks vacation. Some even get 6 weeks of vacation. Much of that holiday time is taken in summer. The Italians practically shut down the country during August...no AC over there. In the US people are often guilt tripped out if they take their full 2 weeks. It's a cultural thing.

I moved from Germany to US. 6 weeks are so nice, took me a while to get used to it here. After working in one place for a while, I have now 4 weeks.

Good for you! Four weeks in the US is great. I had 6 weeks when I lived over there. I'd take one week at a time and get six 9 day stretches 😎 That ain't bad!
