SPA_CHECKBOX doesn't work (no check box in iDrive display), it seeems to be quite logical for DCT.

Try it this way:
Set SPA_IST_GANG_ENABLE back to "nicht aktiv" (this is important). Set SPA_CHECKBOX to "aktiv" in Headunit
and
SPA_KOMBISELECT_DISABLE to "nicht aktiv" in Kombi.
Then you should be able to control it via iDrive. At least it works this way in my car (6MT).
