What is this, and why is it not in it's hole

Last night on my drive home I noticed I could hear the turbos and the BPV, which I never could before. I figured maybe an airbox hose popped off somewhere so I popped the hood and scoped things out. Airbox looked fine but I noticed this:

Is this a DV or breather line? Why did it pop out? I put it back in, but it did not fit in very snug, is this normal?

Its a DV, try rotating the grey locking collar before snapping the DV back in

Happened to me too! Stupid dealer forgot to lock it in...sounded good though! lol
