New 2018 M3! First Question
I picked it up a few weeks ago. 25k miles. Exec pack, full black leather, DCT
I have disconnect the active sound to better hear the car and I have noticed a ossilation at 70 mph in 7th gear that is a low frequency waaahhhhhh waaahhhhh with each way at about 1.5 seconds long. If I drop a gear to 6th maintaining same speed the wah speeds up to about once every half second. Any thoughts ? It sounds like it is coming from the engine area. I don’t think it is tire related as it changes when shifting gears. It is somewhat annoying as I can hear it due to low frequency when radio playing etc. over a long trip I can see it being a real bummer. Thanks for any advice! |

M cars make a lot of noise. Spend some time with it and see if it gets worse? I know I have to be careful not to drive myself crazy listening to every little sound my F80 makes. Congrats btw! One of few other F80's I've seen that have the M side skirt decals.
