any way to set up car to start in comfort mode by default

Just got my Cs a few days ago. Love the car so far minus the lack of comfort access. That's pretty annoying. Anyway, when ever I turn the car of, the steering and suspension is in sport and throttle in efficient. Is there a way to make it default in comfort without using up m1 or m2?

Just set it to m1 as your daily driver routine if you daily it (I assume so because of your question) and it'll literally be muscle memory in no time. Sometimes I get in my car and I'm confused because it's in M1. I don't even remember seeing the normal startup settings on the dash now because it's like second nature to click m1

Startup settings not being adjustable is weird, but not an actual problem at all in my opinion, but yeah it's impossible even with coding to have it startup in comfort

yeah you just gotta set m1 for dd mode and m2 for race mode. the startup mode makes no sense at all. who does efficient throttle with sport suspension?

Also was baffled by this. Wondered was there some "coding" you could do with some app and a cable or bluetooth OBD plug.
I don't want to use M1 for daily driving because I like to have 3 modes really;

Daily (default but steering and suspension put into comfort)
Sport Plus everything except traction control on (for wet) - M1
Sport Plus everything except traction control off (for dry) - M2

I don't really find much of a difference for regular driving between sport and comfort suspension, seems like it's only really needed on poor roads.
BMW probably figured sport would be the most common default.

And efficient/D1 was probably needed because default settings would be used for emissions/fuel economy tests.

i used to want that, but now that i think about it, theres kind of no point. just press the m1/m2 buttons before you turn on the car. not like it makes a difference anyway. truthfully i prefer it this way now because if you ever do valet or have someone else drive your car, theyre not gonna be in sport plus + S3.

I've asked the experts (Benvo@ BPM Sport for example) and they say no you can't change the defaults at power-on...
