When are you guys taking off your snow shoes?
First winter with my f80 I took deliver in December’s. I’m anxious to get off my snow tires and be able to drive the way the car meant to be driven. When have you guys typically swapped back to you performance tires?

I usually swap them when the times I am driving the car the temps are in the upper 40's to 50's. So if it is 30's at night yet 50's in the day I can swap them. I always error on caution and keep them on a bit longer. The Chicagoland area has been known to get 3" of snow in March/April
When I had my 550 msport , I put the summers on and then got caught in snow with PS2's on. That was not fun. I was more worried about the other people and the PS2's not being able to stop or take evasive maneuvers.

My beast is sleeping since Mid-November to Mid-March.
Cannot wait for early Spring

I just found my dad is leaving the country for a couple months. I plan on taking my snow tires off on Friday and keeping his car for when the weather doesn’t allow for the f80. Im excited I took delivery with the snow tires so I’ve yet to experience my f80 with proper performance tires.

Detroit area here ... snows go on Nov 1 and get taken off March 31. It's tempting with normal 40 degree days and you can get by with summers in March, but there are always one or two more days of snow falling. At 40-60 degrees, you're just wearing down good rubber without ever being able to use it with purpose.

Ok who is the one who could not resist putting on your summers? You know you are the reason it is 30 degrees and snowing in April a whopping 20 degrees below the normal.
