Fabspeed Motorsport on the muffler bypass, what happens to the valve actuators that come with the stock exhaust? Are any soft codes thrown since they're not being used?

For comparison sake, I know on the Golf R you needed to buy valve simulators if you decided to go with a valveless exhaust with AWE Tuning. Without it, you'd get soft codes stored but nothing that would cause limp modes or CEL.

We disconnect the valve actuators, cap them off, and hang them up.

From my personal experience, I am unaware of any soft codes being thrown. Also as you stated, it does not cause any issues in regards to CEL, limp mode, or the car running less efficiently.

Well I was wondering really if this setup had been measured on the Dyno since the Muffler Bypass we know it yields mostly sound rather than power.

I like the OEM setup and the sound so this add of the Sport Cat was one of my options since it should be the one providig a bump in power.
