Opps. A real typo. Obviously it is the 50th Anniversary Roundel. Fixed my post and the title.

I was just playing of course

Looks real nice but I am not sure why I would be so apprehensive to do this one a non 2022 car.

Ooooooo....

So the number you show on the box in the pic, I have listed as the "truck retrofit".

Here are all the part numbers I was able to find, but ZERO US distributors have them yet. I DID just find 545 on Schmiedmans!

MW EMBLEM 50 JAHRE M Ø 82MM / M
51148087188

BMW EMBLEM 50 JAHRE M Ø 74MM / M
51148087195

NABENABDECKUNG 50 JAHRE M BMW
36135A37E40

BMW EMBLEM 50 JAHRE M Ø 74MM / M (Trunk RetroFit)
51148087196

BMW EMBLEM 50 JAHRE M Ø 82MM / M (Hood RetroFit)
51117886545

NABENABDECKUNG 50 JAHRE M BMW (Wheel Hub RetroFit)
36125A57484

Can you confirm which part numbers you used for trunk and tail?

Thanks!

Front/Rear: https://www.apmotorsport.co.uk/produ...ary-badge-74mm

Select a 74mm and a 82mm in the drop down menu. My guess is that IND has these also now, but they haven't marketed yet to fit our F8x cars yet. But I'm sure once they notice these posts, they'll adjust accordingly.

NICE!!! Thank you! Schmiedmans is just a little cheaper nicely enough and just checked there. They were also able to provide the Motorsport front sway bar when no one else could!

I have auto leveling hubs now, and would LOVE them to be Heritage as well, but not sure I want to pay the expense on that.. will see. Thank you again, ordering now!

All good, APM was one of the first that I noticed to carry the heritage emblems, but now that they're hitting dealers it's always easier to save a few bucks here and there. They were really easy to deal with via emails back and forth on a regular basis and when it comes to BMW motorsport parts, they're definitely hard to beat.

Schmiedmans is now telling me late August at best, so I cancelled my order. I have reached out to APM to confirm availability.

Not surprised. It took a little over a month to get the initial batch of emblems. You should just reach out to IND and confirm what they have. But be sure they're in stock. I was told a M235iR trunk would take 2 weeks, and it's been 2 months. Had I gone with APM, I would have gotten it in 2 weeks.

Yup.. just ordered and paid through APM, at about $50 more than what Schmiedmans would be, so buying time at this point.

They said they have them in stock so assume shipping quickly. I ordered the same front and rear, so hopefully good to go! I am hearing its likely there will be new style self leveling hub models, (which I have now) but no part numbers on those yet. Not sure I way to pay that premium again so likely will end up mismatched long run, not sure anyone else will care other than my low level OCD. 8)

Yeah don't care about center caps much since I have aftermarket wheels anyways but emblems are nice for sure.

Trunk number coming to me is 51148087196. I don’t know the hood number but it shipped to me today. So I can report it in about a week. It is an 82 mm OEM hood roundel though.

I'm sure there are various versions. I'm happy with the version I got. If you want to spend the money and experiment and find an alt, by all means. Both fit great.

My hood roundel showed up today. I had to break off the tabs and add 3M doubled sided tape to install it. Looks great though. 5117886545.

Had tape on it but it was so thin that it didn’t contact the hood. The old roundel had thick 3M tape on it.

There are over a dozen 50th Anniversary Classic M Roundel PNs as shown in this PaddleShifterz (Germany) video. So be very careful before ordering a set. If the back adhesive and pins don't match your current roundel design, you probably have the wrong PN.

They were due in the US in June 2022, but it looks like July/August. BMWPartsPros has them listed for pre-order, but some of the fitment info is incorrect. In general the hood is 82mm and the trunk is 74mm. Larger BMWs have 82mm roundels for both the hood/trunk.

There are wheel hub center caps for cars with a 5 x 112mm bolt pattern, like the G8X M3/M4. Word is there will not be any floating center cap versions. Older BMWs use a 5 x 120mm bolt pattern...not sure if the 50th Anniversary Classic M wheel hub center cap will be made to fit older BMWs.

Cheers
