The G8X frameless rearview mirrors are cool.. wonder if they can be used here?

Got a chance to drive both the new M3 and M4, and love the rear view mirror! Is essentially frameless, has a wider view and looks great too!

It made me wonder if its possible to move over to the M2C. Other random thoughts every time BMW updates a model.. lol

I just wish the mirror in the M2 didn't hang so low.

I am running a Radar-Mirror Escort Max CI display in the "older" M3 shape. I like it better than the M2 mirror.

Actually I am convinced now the mirror in that thread isn't the new G8X mirror. The new one is almost frameless which is really cool.

Hopefully realoem will get caught up soon with parts diagrams to make sure.

I sat in the new G80 today and i think it's the same mirror. It's definitely the same mirror as the one G20 and BMW shares parts all the time.

So then I look at my VIN lookup

319 Integrated Universal Remote Control
5AC Autom. High-beam Headlights Control

So 6753 makes the most sense when I match up the Yes/No values looking through the list.. but WOW that is not a cheap piece of hardware!

HAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHA!

I found a 51169476753 mirror on Ebay Germany for 450 Euro.. made an offer for 200 euro and they accepted!

Figure worst case, if the conversion doesn't work I will just sell it and get my money back.

Well I would check realoem though I don't know if they have the latest part diagrams up yet.
