M Performance style series - carbon fiber front lip - DIY
All right y'all, lets hit this week hard with the last of the M2 Comp M Performance carbon fiber series from CT Carbon!
This is the final part 4, with the installation of the M Performance CS style front lip, and MAN it looks GOOD! I have installed a lot of these from many places, on many cars and this is a really great lip! The install is easy, the CF is perfect and looks absolutely fantastic. Fitment really is perfect, and I love the way this meets the strong curves and angles of the M2 front bumper cover. I also STRONGLY suggest installing SLiPLO at the same time, as it has already saved me (hangs head in shame) FOUR TIMES in three weeks. I will have a follow up install DIY for sliplo, but I literally dont know why you wouldn't install it as well at the same time.

So I got a chuckle at your first comment on the other thread, but now struggling to understand the hater-aid here.
You feeling ok? Any particular reason to attack my character, or just not enough coffee this morning? Some DIYs are super simple like this but still can be helpful.

Can you maybe make a DIY video on how to run this play? I need a HPFP and have a camera. Maybe you can show me how to work something out with Dorch? |

My reasons for doing this are many, but the single largest one is if I am going to do all of this work anyway, I might as well film and produce it too. I really enjoy doing it. Also, I have gotten to know some truly amazing people, made connections and had introductions to folks I never would have met otherwise. So for the critics.. believe me or not, but I enjoy what I do and hope others will too. Considering almost 2mil views now, I must be doing something of some value. I appreciate the support for the hustle.

Humble YouTuber. Real man of the people. Just out there spamming cheap product, day in, day out. Just doing the work. Asking nothing in return but a little appreciation for his 2M views.
Oh and maybe use his promo code for 10% off. Helps build the brand. |

Thanks for the review! Completely agree w/ your comments in the other thread regarding quality of CF parts off of third party vendors. It's a hit-or-miss when ordering online, you'll never know what you get. So I do appreciate the in-depth review.
Ended up buying the lip because I was in the market for an OEM replica.. as I didn't want to pay OEM prices. I was leaning towards the M Perf one, but didn't like how there were 'air scoops' near the center part of the lip and was afraid that debris / gunk would end up in there. Ultimately went w/ the CS version and bought it from Carbon GT. It was ~$150-200 USD more than some of the ones I found on ebay, but well worth the piece of mind. Shipping took ~1 week and it arrived decently packaged. Looking forward to getting this on the car! |
