AWE Gen 2 exhaust DIY - Easy install and dramatic sound change

All right guys, I am REALLY excited to bring to you my latest DIY with the help of a local M4 owner!

AWE has put out a new exhaust system for the F8X cars and it is really impressive! We installed it into Brian's gorgeous M4 convertible and absolutely transformed the sound of his car.

The DIY is relatively simple and can be done pretty easily in an afternoon! The audio change is really dramatic, and substantially lowers the overall note of the exhaust on an otherwise stock car.

Make sure to check it out, especially if still running OEM exhaust or want a different tone from your M2C/M3/M4.

Hence why I found it strange to post a DIY on an M4 exhaust in the M2C section when AWE has nothing for the M2, period...

Fair comment and I thought with the sound comparison at the end (both being S55s) that it was good to have up with the the comprehensive Active video I have for the M2C.

ahhh i got ya - yes this does sound different but TBH M2C and M4's with same exact set ups can sound different. unfortunately AWE doesn't care about M2/M2C as far as i know. I'm coming from an Audi and AWE was the top dog.

Sure sure. I get it. Comparing sounds is nice, but comparing sounds for a M4 when it can't be had on the M2C kinda defeats the point of comparison's sake? At least that's how I'd perceive it. When I got my CS, I did look up AWE and since they didn't offer anything for the S55 for our F87, it just serves no purpose for this DIY...
