You'd think so, but every website I've tried over in the madhouse that is the US shows it as "Unavailable".

I ended up getting the extinguisher and seat bracket from H3R Performance. Looks like the right kind of setup for a car, plus no massive mess from a standard model.

I will install in a week or so.

Can you provide more details on exactly what you ordered from them for this setup? Can you provide some more photos? Are you able to move the seat all the way forward for access to the back sets with this installed?

It’s not cheap, but all things considered, it could save your insurance company some $$$ in the event of a fire.
Unfortunately, this example is no longer available.

You need to order the shorter seat adjuster handles too. (If you have manual seats like I do)

Hi there, which dealer did you order from, and do you have the full list of part numbers? I’d like to install the same in my UK car (RHD, manual Competition seats)

Thank you so much!

In the realoem link above, items 2 and 4. Part numbers in blue.

Although item 2 says ended now so might be unavailable. Try googling part number.

Bought mine 5 yrs ago!

Any dealer parts desk, i just used my local one in stoke.

Or Cotswold bmw do mail order parts.

I don't recommend dry powder for extinguishing a car fire. It will damage electrical components in your engine and be a nightmare to clean up. At that point it'd be no different than letting the fire destroy the engine. Go for a Haltron extinguisher instead--there's a reason why they are more expensive.

Yeah i never planned to use it, it just looks really good as it's an OE fitment accessory.

Unfortunately seems the short lever kit is NLA. So not sure if the extinguisher can be installed without that mod?

If you have manual seats (I do) the extinguisher won't fit between the standard adjuster handles.

I do indeed. Am desperately trying to find some handles but looks like they were discontinued years ago 😔

I bought the one from OEM Extinguishers and it has everything you need for a clean, five minute install:
