Long time coming but finally had all my stockpiled exterior parts installed. The delay was mostly due to having ppf places on the front end cf parts. Quick little tease for now.

6 Month Ownership Status
Hard to believe, but its now been 6 months since I took this vehicle home. Its at 5700 miles and has seen some changes since it first arrived at Irvine BMW late last year.
I've since updated the top page with my current installed parts and have also included links to the vendors, installers, and services that have helped me get the car to where it is today. A good friend of mine has also since put together a photoshoot of how it sits, which provides some great details of the installed parts. Hopefully it provides a good reference to all those considering these parts as well. Enjoy! PSA: photo dump incoming The M Performance CF parts showcase. Also included is the M decal pack for the front and rear. I decided not to add the ones that run the full body of the car. Because the M stripes involves two shades of blue it just blends too much with LBB. One part I haven't added is the trunk lip spoiler. I decided to hold off here because I haven't quite decided what I want to do here yet. I'm leaning towards doing both the full CF trunk lid and hood, but another alternative is getting the split tail lip spoiler when the M2 CS is released. Moving on, some great shots of the 763M and the massive brakes sitting behind them. So what comes next? I have the interior pieces pending install and plan on getting the LED alcantara steering wheel to go along with them. The M coilovers (I actually like how the car sits but I'll most likely lower by about a half inch, but I will be using the coilovers to set the ride just a tad softer for daily use) and exhaust (either M or Akra) are also on my radar. As mentioned, I'm considering adding the full CF hood and trunk lid. And I will finally start moving forward on some minor engine work, including tune and upgrading the charge pipes. In case you can't tell, I lean heavily into the OEM+ builds, which started with my BRZ and will carry forward to this and a potential car I may pick up this year. Until next time!

From the dealer or anywhere that carries M performance parts. It's the M performance motorsport decal, Part No. 51142456835. I only used the front and back of the kit. Theres also a large decal that runs along the side of the car that's just sitting in my garage.

Love the 763 Ms.
I think the Orbit Gray 763s would look cool too - I hope someone gets ahold of those for the M2C at some point.

Yeah that's what I did. I have the side decals just sitting in my garage if I ever need extra material to use for whatever reason.

What kind of valve stem caps came with the 763m tires/wheels? Or did you buy them without the tires?

OP, car looks badass! Are you getting a new exhaust? If not paint the stock muffler flat black, it will look 10x better.
P.S. With so much attention to detail why don't you have a a rear license plate frame? |
