Changing halo colors?

Hey yall, I just saw that Bayoptics and IND just releases G8X yellow LEDs for the halos. Has anyone seen similar for the F8X? There is nothing I can find..

Nothing similar as yet but I have seen some F80's with it done, one on the gram on the weekend with some company state side whom said they've been doing it for a while. So want to go this way with my car

I spoke with someone from IND on insta. They plan on supporting F series chassis moving forward.

Cool to hear for sure! I have noticed though that every single G8X yellow LED vendor has identical circuit boards. If you look at the product pics, the boards are identical even down to the markings, which tells me they are getting them from a single source, or incredible coincidence.

I am speaking with a vendor that also has F8X options, across multiple color choices too which is interesting. Sounds like there are some options there, and maybe more coming?

I'd be interested in yellow DRL's. I actually kept my stock E92 halos but turned them up brighter. I like the contrast they provide to the Xenons or LEDs

I have found a local.US vendor as well and will be doing a G8X and F8X DIY set soon!

I ended up getting two sets, one RGB the other yellow. The idea being I would swap colors from yellow to white whenever I felt like it but ended up not wanting to deal with installing the RGB versions so those will be for sale soon. Only swapped the inside angel eye, sadly phone photos don't do it justice. Now I want to find turn signal bulbs that are yellow instead of amber.

How is the color shifting controlled? Is it via an app?

I have a yellow set on my F87. Simple mod & nice touch imo.

To be honest I wouldn't play with AliExpress stuff for something related to electronics …

Might be the best option to have a good fire … but everyone does what he wants … putting Chinese low cost tires is also a good one for safety (max 50 euros/usd per tire of course!)

I installed the yellow set into a G82 yesterday and will do my F87 in the next few days. Looks really good.
