Stumbled upon a CS style front lip for the OG M2
https://www.aeroluxeautoboutique.com...iber-front-lip
Not affiliated in any way. Wondering if anyone has bought this particular lip since it's the first I've seen for the OG M2 |

I saw this lip a while back (https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...&postcount=200) but at the time only one person had it who isn't even on the forums but instead on Instagram > https://www.instagram.com/kuku_m2/ < I had reached out to the user via Instagram for fitment questions but they never responded. Keep us updated on fitment.

Yeah, I figured just as much... she posted about the lip in an FB group, and I liked the lip enough that I went ahead and ordered it. I was going to get the AutoID Competition style lip, but it was way more expensive (almost $1200 total after currency exchange and shipping).

shopping around for a lip but how do they install this? my last lip i installed on a wrx you used screws straight through the bottom of the lip through bumper into the plastic. Is it the same concept? The last one i installed was a cheap ABS plastic lip and was not aggressive.

I got the lip installed finally. Fit was pretty good, with slight gaps if you look close - but I think that's a universal problem with CF. Overall pretty happy with it.

I think it's as best as you can hope for with an aftermarket CF piece. Overall, I'm very happy and Aeroluxe was pretty responsive over Facebook messenger too when I had questions about fitment!

Mmmmm that is comparatively cheaper. I'd love to see how quickly this lip breaks against my work garage ramps . Sorry ignore me, my last lip broke within the first month after waiting months on months to ship from germany so I'm just bitter..

I'll probably be using rubber well nuts or blind rivet nuts instead of self tapping screws. |
