Mosselman big turbo install - Full review of the process for the S55

All right y'all, hitting it hard this week with another video as I wanted to get it out as soon as it was ready!

I just had the PLEASURE of getting new Mosselman Turbo Systems big turbos from Kies Motorsports installed into my M2 Competition!

Ivan Hernandez of BimtechPNW did the work, and absolutely KILLED IT!

A job of this complexity CAN be done DIY, but I wanted to ensure it was done perfectly, and Ivan is the man just for that. Because of that, this is a review of the install process rather than my normal DIY.

There are MANY choices out there, some quite good, for big turbo upgrades for the BMW S55 motor but I wanted top shelf. The Mosselman MSL 62-75s were my first choice, combined with the tuning genius of JordanTuned, LLC. The icing on the cake is the flex fuel sensor from PRO Tuning Freaks to allow both pump gas and E85 operation.

Completing the install was a baseline flash tune from Cary, to hold me until I got on the dyno for a full remote tune to dial it all in perfectly.

Truly a GREAT experience not only with the new turbos but with the meticulous job done by Ivan and his team.

Nice. Do you have hp/tq figures? Edit: Aha, you'll first do some break in miles I see. Keep us posted.
And did you do the crank hub fix too? I have the Mosselman crank hub fix.

Cheers
Robin

So I have my first interim numbers up, and they are very very good.

Absolutely yes on the crank hub as well, with the same shop doing my RK Autowerks crank hub a year ago. Lots of prep work to make bigger power as safe as possible.

The full build link is in my signature, as it's amazing how far the car has come in a little over a year.
