Zunsport front grill protection for the CS

That's exactly what I am doing for my car. Zunsport on the bottom and custom mesh behind front grille, although I ordered my mesh from customcargrilles.com - who also sells a rubber edging. I don't pick up my car for another two weeks, but the plan is to access behind the front of the radiator by removing the top bumper screws, and popping off the grille, zip-tying the mesh to the metal brace. I'm not brave enough to remove the front bumper entirely (not yet anyway). Good luck.

these are the anchors for the two side grills. they blend it pretty well but eagle eyes perfectionist will spot them. 😉

the center piece have four tabs. two on the left right edges, and two center top and bottom

The screens are an easy install, and I have a DIY video up for them just in case as well. The video also has a discount code too.

Also, I was able to track down a UK CS owner for them, so expect they will have CS specific screens in development soon!

Should be about a month from the 20th roughly. Heading up with the CS to get test fitted on the 20th with another final fitting a month later.

Received my Zunsport grills this weekend. They fit perfect. Considering the CS and Comp have the same front bumper and grill insert PNs, that makes sense.
Be great to hear from mge92 if Zunsport picked up subtle differences and will release a changed design for the CS.

Just sharing my experience, here. This pic shows what I received from Zunsport and tried to install on my CS. As you can see, on this side grille, the bottom of the Zunsport unit is registered in its intended place. The top was blocked by the OEM grille's bezel, and without possibly damaging/deforming the bezel by forcing, I could not get it any closer to registering with the plane of the OEM grille than pictured here. In other words, it was too tall. The Zunsport unit's quality was excellent and they took my return with zero hassles. I'll look forward to trying again after they've had a look at the CS' dimensions in-house.

This was exactly my experience. I don't know how others found that the fit was OK.

This was exactly my experience. I don't know how others found that the fit was OK.

I can only guess that manufacturing tolerances are to blame for the poor fit. The grilles I received have no gaps and fit perfectly. Once the CSR kidney grilles are in, I'll snap a few pics.

Let's see what comes of their inspection of a CS and whether they'll tweak the design…

I was invited up to test fit for the CS and it fit perfectly. Not sure why others are having problems but the guys up at Zunsport managed to fit it within 15 minutes and there was no issues. Amazing guys. I was told there are some minor gaps to aid installation and fitment but the competition grill does fit.

It doesn't fit my CS - as well as others have commented the same. There are pictures in this thread that show the issue. So either we're nuts or somehow there are different inserts on some CS's that then create a smaller grill opening.

That's weird because as you can see it does fit on mine.

This is bothering me; I'm going to order another set just to prove myself right (or wrong!). I wouldn't think production tolerance are that loose that you would see much variation in size.

unless you somehow accidentally ordered the grills for the OG M2. those would for sure not fit comp and cs bumper
