Has anyone actually seen an M2 6 pot in person, off the car?
I am still sorting a retrofit bracket so that the M3/4 CCB's and F10 M5 6 pots can work on F3x cars. I also have blue M5 calipers and gold F8x CCB calipers. I will use the F8x CCB gold calipers to make a copy of the radial bracket and then add 5mm to then effectively mean that the blue M5 caliper is dimensionally identical to the F8x CCB. This should mean that F8x owners (incl M2) would be able to use the bracket to fit M5 calipers with the M2 comp 400mm rotors. |

Haven't pulled my 2NH calipers off yet but does anyone know if they use aluminum pistons instead of SS?
Also - I found rear titanium shim plates but not sure where to find them for the front? |

2NH should be SS pistons I think. Gold calipers are titanium.

Another option is to get these Rdd rotors... -6.6 Kg rotational mass off the standard M BBK

My “M Sport Brakes” came standard. Not sure if it’s the same 2NH. This is my first BMW and I still don’t know all that much about it. Hell, I rarely drive it lol. I bought it at the end of last year and have yet to go over 800 miles.
Anyways... pics of my window sticker and front brakes are included. Maybe someone who knows can chime in. Birmingham, Al, USA btw. |

Also - if you want titanium shims to help reduce heat transfer to your pistons thus fluid (For the 2NH big brakes and maybe CCB if pad shape is the same)

Does anyone know the color code for the 2NH “silver” brake calipers?
Looking to paint a set of BBK’s in this color, but many reputable M vendors didn’t have the color code. Thanks!! |
