I sometimes feel that way as well....I love BMW's and adore the M brand. However, it does seem like it has been watered down over the last several years. It is certainly not as rare or as special as it once was.

I believe BMW is pushing the limits of the M brand in regards to putting it on every other car they make. M this, M that, M here, M there.....I mean enough already!

I know the main goal is to sell cars and make coin....but, they have really butchered what was once a really strong brand.

....and if they seriously slap a CS on an X3,4,5.....I give up 🤣

HS + Black Bits lowered looks cool.

Kinda think M2 needs an aggressive hood like this.

Trust me, the M2 CS hood isn't tame. It's one of the design features that sets the M2 CS apart from the base M2 and M2C.

If they put a CS badge on a M5, then the M2 CS doesn't seem all that special.

I am first/ only customer in line.
I told them I'm not interested if over 80k. .... maybe this will be a bargaining chip to convince them to do ED.
I imagine that I will be low priority as far as allocations and probably would get some of the later production if they are even able to secure an allocation .
Can wait for early November to see the announcement.
Regional rep has my info and I am one of "the first in line". I know I am # 1 only one at the store .

Not sure what that means at all. I Would appreciate one of the later allocations but at this point willing to take anything.

I'm #2 at my store. #1 on the list has informally told me that he's 99% going to pass. If he doesn't then my store has already confirmed that I'll get one.

Next big ask is doing ED at a specific time of the year...

I'm curious when the reveal is going to be though... it's already the end of October... isn't this supposed to be seen at the LA auto show in like 2 weeks?

LA Auto Show is November 22 so about 3 weeks away. Isn't there supposed to be an online reveal in early November?

I think the big ask is ED MSRP.

What would be your preferred month?

I don't know if I would do ED at US MSRP.

We don't get a different price for ED (that I know of).

I want to do some time in July since that's typically a slow time of year for me at the office.

Hopefully it all works out

I was under the impression that there was an ED price differential. That's what all of the threads suggest.

I'm in Canada though, I'm not sure if we get one a discount for ED

Who knows but since the M2 CS is a limited edition model it may be excluded from ED. I believe I may have seen this in another thread about the M3 CS. So no ED is a possibility.

Great point. Didn't really consider that angle.

I'm sure One of the experts here will know off hand what the situation has been in the past.

F80 CS Euro Delivery was an option according to the pricing sheets:

Edit: Appears it was dropped on the 2019's? :

I can confirm that ED is different in Canada than in the US, in this regard. There's no discount in Canada (and there is in the US).

Not true! I am getting my M2CS from my dealer with ED. It is up to the dealers discretion. This would be my second ED.
