I just bought some R1s from Inertia Lab last week. Wish I had waited because I would have bought these.

Did yours come with the bolts to mount the camber plate to the shock tower or did you get those somewhere else?

Would love to grab these R1’s for my OG M2 but I don’t know for certain if it’s a direct fit. I’m seeing some threads mentioning the top hats being different but I’m not sure what that entails

Inertia Lab has an R1 kit for the OG and one for the M2C so something must be different. Give them a call or shoot them an email. I found them to be super responsive.

It?s a direct fit between M2 and M2C. You just need the right camber plates.

Older style Nitron Camber plates are two piece and there is a outer mount and a camber plate. Don?t know if the newer style is as well but essentially the old style just swapped the outer mount ring depending on application.

I have an extra set of the outer rings for a M2C I can snap a pic of. Surely Nitron or OGSM can get you the camber plates needed to mount these.

Here are the 5 bolt M2C style. The OG has a 3 bolt version of this.

The new style I got from Nitron for my OG is a hybrid that can fit both (5 hole for shock tower and fits both style of strut braces) and doesn?t have those studs on it. It reuses the factory hardware. Just FYI for anyone curious. Can send a pic if it helps.

Edit - added pic of the ones i got in my R1 kit this week

Thank you both!

I think I’m understanding correctly in that if someone with an OG M2 such as myself wanted to grab these, we’d need to swap out the camber plates for ones that are OG M2 specific and everything would be plug and play from there.

These will work on any F87. These are the best configuration to get (M2C) because you can add the M2C/M3/M4 aluminum brace + carbon fiber brace combo which is a big benefit to the front end and is a relatively cheap mod. You want to get rid of the stock brace because it holds the OG back big time.

You'd be crazy not to do it in combination with Nitrons tbh. One of the best bang for the buck handling mods hands down.

So you’re saying if an OG M2 owner installed these exactly as they are, they would not need to change the camber plates (or have any top hat issues)? Direct blot on.
This is different from what others have stated above

This is assuming the OG M2 gets aluminum and carbon brace retrofitted. Otherwise OG M2s will not have the same mounting position as the M2C and M2CS

Which springs did you go with?

What was your experience with them?

Did you take them on the track, how did they perform?

I’ll take the OGSM Nitron R1’s and can coordinate local pickup. I sent you a DM a few days ago.

I'm interested in the JB4. How long have you had it? Any issues? Can you please send me photos of the wires/connectors and all that just so I can see the condition? Thanks
