How did they get the M4 so wrong? A face not even a mother could love.

Personally I think the new frontend looks fantastic.

Yep, it's hideous. Anyone saying they like the look is just covering for BMW, for reasons I don't understand.

It does have a bit of a long athletic stance in those photos. Also a bit of this... Think of the wrap possibilities!

The only folks I've come across who like it or love it are first time M buyers or first time BMW buyers, with absolutely no knowledge of the history or cars that came before it. No judgement against it, if you've always grown up wanting to own an M3, you can't be blamed for buying one when finances allow, no matter how ugly etc. The halo of buying the revered M3 is what seems to be drawing them to this car without realizing how it isn't anything close to what made the M3, the M3. |

My sales advisor sent me photos over the weekend of the M3. We chatted a bit and his best defense for the new front on the M3 is that "no one will confuse the new M3 for an M340i in the rear view mirror".
The M3 is supposed to be a sleeper. You have to be an enthusiast to know what you are looking at. If BMW is out to market these cars to people who want doors to open and champagne to rain from the sky because they bought an M3 than clearly its not the car for me. I buy cars I like. Not cars other people like. |

The M2 is really peak BMW over the past 10 years and for the foreseeable future. That M4 is heinous. It looks like an uglier Mustang.

In before the g80 fans come and say the g80 has instantly aged the f87 by 100 years.
Let’s not mention how it’s nearly double the damn size |

I can't wait to see more side by side comparisions of the new M cars. It's only verifying what we already knew. The M2CS is the best M car in a long time and in the foreseable future as well.

It's clear to me now that the new M4 will look the best in black and dark colors so that there's less contrast around the grill. I don't think the overall shape of the car is terrible, but that front end doesn't look good with that much contrast.
