Did you get a look @ the VIN? Is it the same car as the one previewed in Brussels? For me that would explain the M- perf rims... Not many people liked the gold ones (on MB). "Let's try to sell them this way." |

It's the same car of the September 2019 M2 CS preview in the Brussels Brand Store (built on March 22, 2019 - for the full specs: see here). Looks like they removed the OEM 'Gold Matt' 19" 763M M2 CS wheels and replaced those with a set of 'Black Matt' 19" 763M M Performance Parts. However, the OEM black M2 CS wheels are 'Jet Black' (glossy) and do not feature the MPP logo embossed near the valve stems. In other words: not the OEM M2 CS wheels on display.

Do they ever change a paint formula of a color without changing the name? That picture looks like the misano blue has a lot more metal flake than the z4 I've seen. Even the party that isn't in a bright light still send to be bright. Just curious if there a possibility that the M2CS has a variant of misano blue.

Just sell the wheels and get Apex in gun metal.

All personal taste though, so I totally get people thinking it looks horrible too! I wouldn't mind the calipers being something other than red... but I'll deal.

I think the car looks fine in blue with gold. I'll be the first to admit that it's a personal prejudice that I may get over eventually. I had a neighbor (kid) that had a subie with that combo so I associate it with a kid's car...my bad 😂

I agree the car looks great with the black wheels. Hopefully US ordering happens shortly. According to that Canadian price guide, production is supposed to be early March. I would think reviews will be here soon as well.

Got those same wheels on my e90 M3! Previous owner had them.
The apex Arc 8 might be a better choice depending on preference for concavity and weight. I think for me hypothetically the money of the 763m + powdercoat vs the Apex or similar option I would save the cash. Weight is similar between them but Apex is not forged. I really do like the 763m in gun metal though! |

Seriously, a door handle weighting the same as a slice of pizza is really going to make a difference in total weight.. Please |

Here are some paint sample comparisons against Estoril Blue II to show how it behaves in different lighting. It even appears darker oddly under some lighting conditions which was rather weird. The metallic flake amount is less than EBII, so it definitely is a "flatter" color and won't shift as much across the curves of the car as the more metallic colors do.

I wonder if the door armrest delete is more for track duty elbow room. I think that's the same reason for the center column delete.

No, it's not. There is no practical reason for removing the standard door handles. It's a phycological flair made to imply that's it's more performance oriented than it is. The same way M cars have quad exhaust like a Ferrari but only two pipes are actually functional. |

Anyways, don't get me started on how asinine it is for BMW considering a 3,500lbs car with back seats a track car.. But that's a whole other discussion. |
