A friend of mine spotted this AW M2 today in Munich near BMW's HQ. Actually over at the MINI Zentrum there. What's most interesting is the M Performance exhaust bits...

Looks great but LBB is still my choice. The exhaust config is interesting as well. It almost looks like the muffler is totally bypassed?!

I saw both Alpine White and LBB. Car looks fantastic, but anyone on the fence about going with LBB versus a more conservative color such as white, go with LBB! Yeah I completely agree with the fact that MINIs aren't so "MINI" anymore. The styling isn't so bad, but they're so freaking big nowadays. I still own an '05 Cooper S hardtop with some modifications and I'm really glad that I decided to keep it, because the first generation (R53) in my opinion, was MINI in it's true form. A friend of mine has an '09 Cooper S hardtop and it's nowhere near as responsive, and you can feel the weight, the newest ones even more so. That's why they came out with a 2015 John Cooper Works hardtop with 230hp, but yet has the same performance figures as my 2005 hardtop with 200hp

It's sad.

It's a good thing BMW plants these cars all around so all the forum folks can get themselves sorted out.

Amazing to see people make such declarative statements that change from one photo set to the next.

One photo set - "I hate it in white. "
Next photo set - " I love it in white ! Thank god I haven't ordered a Porsche yet !"

I agree that in pictures it looks that way, but in person it's really a lot smaller overall so it looks okay.
