Following up on the
SportAuto test at Hockenheim, the M2 (with DKG/DCT) was now tested on the Sachsenring by Autobild Sportscars. Highlights:
- 1:37.65 min Sachsenring
- weighed at 1560kg (presumably all fluids, no driver)
- 0-100 km/h at 4.2s and 0-200 km/h at 15.1s
- braking from 100 km/h: 32.0m
Compared to SportAuto acceleration is quite a lot faster (4.2 vs. 4.5 and 15.1 vs. 16.3), but then it's not tested with 2 persons. Braking also a bit better (32.0 vs. 33.8). Weight is about the same.
Some Sachsenring times for comparison, also tested by AB Sportscars. The M2 is slightly slower than the M4 here (both DKG).

- M4 DCT: 1:37.22min
- Audi RS3: 1:40.22 min
- A45 AMG (381hp version with semis): 1:38.97 min
- Ford Mustang GT: 1:40.56 min
