Largest negative is the numb steering - absolutely zero feedback. As a daily it looks cool, but carving the mtns I found the view restrictive, the piped in intake sound in annoying and lack of a decent transmission. Also, no sport+ and when you did turn off DSC it was not like the M2 in sport+

Personally, I still have my Supra while I ended up replacing the M2C. Nowhere near a knock against the M2, but as mentioned above I kept it cause to me its just a little better at being an everyday sports car (if you don't need back seats).

my experience with the supra is that its a good daily. the zf8 when left to its own devices gets around town easy. the car cruises on the highway very well thanks to the 8 gears. i took one from dallas to austin recently for the f1 race. it has no problems cruising at 90-100 and we ended the journey without feeling tired.
the trans falls on its face with any type of manual control though. the downshifts are insanely laggy. if you like to sequentially downshift coming up to a stoplight you will hate it. if you're the type to just leave the car in "D" you will probably like it more than dct. unfortunately that is how most buyers are these days.

ZF torque converter is a non-starter for me. Manual Supra or none at all. Manual Supra or my M2 Comp? I’d choose the Supra IF I did not need a back seat for my infant daughter. I already have a two-seater car. However, if I ditched the M2, it’d only be for an Evora GT (which I’ll do once my daughter’s car seat can safely face forward).

I just recently went from a 21 M2C to a 22 Supra 3.0
The Supra ‘feels’ faster but I really liked both cars. I only swapped because of an issue with the m2 and it was from Carvana so I figured I’d try something by else. I’m still trying to get used to the the low roof line and visibility of the Supra. |

I've found that if you stay in auto mode they shift fast and allow much better highway fuel economy than the manual. My M235i with ZF8 was like a rocket in freeway traffic. However I can't wait to drive a Supra stick just for the fun of it.

We are dialing in our Nitron R3 kits for the Supra right now - pretty impressed with the potential this platform has in it too. ZF8 not as good as the DCT on the track but was workable. Car definitely has a ton of potential in it though. I prefer the F87 still but the Supra has a very high ceiling.
