Mine is getting here Friday! I got extremely lucky, someone ordered a BSM M2 with all the options I wanted (moonroof, exec pkg, carbon fiber mirror/spoiler, black grill and badge), and cancelled for an M3! It was already at the port when I ordered it! Signed the paperwork this evening, can't wait!!

I took delivery of mine 2weeks ago, pre-reg Sapphire black. Total cost of spec £53k
It is very easy to get new unregistered cars with £6.5k off at least in the UK at the moment. There is currently a boat on its way to the UK with new M2's on unallocated! I had 4 black LCI cars offered to me but the pre reg was a no brainer. Last edited by M2C_PLUS; 03-08-2018 at 10:45 AM.. |

Let's see.. picking up car on the 2nd. For the next almost two weeks, it'll be a loop heading south and east through Austria, then back west to the area near Chur, Switzerland, then down south to sample the innumerable twisties in Northern Italy, including the fabulously scenic Dolomites, and across much of the lower peaks and foothills just south of the highest alps. I've found that this band of lower mountains in northern Italy has an amazing density of incredibly twisty stuff.
Some of the high-runner roads I'm thinking of: - Grossglockner High Alpine Road, Austria - NockalmStrasse, Austria - SilvrettaStrasse, Austria - The so-called "sella loop" in the Italian Dolomites - The famous Stelvio Pass - The nearby and much less famous but nearly as twisty Umbrail Pass - The various famous Swiss Passes - Furkapass - Sustenpass - Grimselpass - Splugenpass - San Bernardino pass - Neufenenpass - etc - Tons of lesser known Italian passes, including - San Marco pass - Gavia pass - Mortirolo pass - Vivione pass - Mendola pass - And on top of that a bunch of very remote Italian twisties - most with decent pavement (if in some places a bit narrow). When I've cut a few swaths through the above routes, I figure I'll know the M2 reasonably well, and we'll head north for a few evenings (June 13th and 14th) on the Nordschliefe (Nurburgring). After that my buddy will be flying back home and I plan to spend another week or two heading back down to hit whatever twisties I missed the first time around. Hopefully I'll still have tread on the tires left! What about you? Any interesting destinations planned? PS - here are some example shots of the *quieter*, *less busy*, *less famous* spots I've picked out (most of these are in Italy): |

i think most people buy cars when it's the right time for them to buy. When I see the right version of a BMW/Audi/Merc/porsche, i will buy one. for instance, a naturally aspirated, 4.0, six speed porsche...oh wait I have one of those on reserve. our viewpoints align. life is short, drive what u like, don't wait too long.

@alavigne wow, that's a wonderful list of roads. Thank you for your itinerary! I'm just beginning to research and plan, so I'll have to get back to you on what I come up with. It'll be my first driving trip through Europe, as I've generally just taken trains or flown between cities there. It's a bit overwhelming to know where to go in just 10-12 days time.
