The car runs smooth like any b58 equipped car; the drivetrain is just a little more suited for daily use for better and worse. I owned both cars and the Supra was exactly used for that benefit: daily driver to my M2C's weekend blast. If the M2 is your only car, I do say yes no reason in switching; the M2 just feels special to drive if you don't mind driving it everyday.
Personally, I still have my Supra while I ended up replacing the M2C. Nowhere near a knock against the M2, but as mentioned above I kept it cause to me its just a little better at being an everyday sports car (if you don't need back seats).
