The suspension question was not obvious nor settled, which is stated in my OP along with an apology just in case ..
But it IS settled! It IS obvious and has been from October last year, but nobody takes any notice when people explain to them that the suspension is not adaptive. It even said it in the official press release. People like you just add to the confusion!

It is absolutely crystal clear if you read the official press release and specs!! They were available from DAY ONE!!

You really haven't a clue what you're talking about do you? The M2 has been built from the ground up WITHOUT adaptive suspension. They're not going to suddenly add it for the U.S., especially not on such a niche product.

It's a whole different ball game when it comes to other options that certain markets may decide to offer.

We can't go off interviews and discussions or official sources because time and time again we have seen those to be wrong. Just look at the conversation an "M specialist" had with a forum member at the auto show in Belgium. Information is just all over the place. Why you guys are unable to see where the confusion is... I don't know. It's there.

I said from the very start that the guy wasn't going to be speaking to any experts at the Brussels motor show (I'm going there tomorrow by the way). These M "experts" don't confuse me because I don't take any notice of them! SO no, it doesn't "add" to the confusion.

There was an interview with an M engineer printed in CAR Magazine before Christmas and there was a thread posted about it on here. In his own words the M2 doesn't have adaptive dampening.

Why people are speaking to muppets on the BMW stand at the Brussels motor show, I do not know. I did warn them but nobody takes any notice.
