Need Suggestions for headlights + other exterior options
Hey guys,
I just got an 08 328i. Its pre lci. I was wondering if you guys could make suggestions for some nice options to make it look great, ive looked around and a lot of you guys have some great looking 3 series What i have done: -My wheels are sprayed flat black along with my 328i badge and my kidneys and chrome hood inserts so thats taken care of i think. -BMS Power box What id like: -Angel eyes (If possible) -Brighter lighting (I am not a fan of the current halogens in the headlights nor fogs) -Something cheap but nice for the trunk (Lip spoiler from the factory looks attractive -I am planning on tinting the windows the legal limit in NY State -Tail lights? i heard u could switch out lci ones for pre lci -Anything else u guys would suggest i do to make it look nice (I prefer to keep my roundels the way they are, i like them) Side note: I cant really mod engine + performance because when i go away to school my little sis has to drive the car and i dont want her getting pulled over for exhaust or something stupid. The cops here arent really big on tint tickets but exhaust they are all over. Any suggestions are appreciated, if there is a link you could provide that would also be great! Lastly, i dont have OBD cables to code so anything that would save me coding would help but if the option is too good to pass up ill look into coding i suppose, seems like its not too hard. Thanks so much guys! -Dean |

sounds good e90company, although my current headlights dont have angel eyes in them so the bulbs would be a little hard to install =P
as for the rest of that stuff, how easy/accessible is to find? |

Searching is your friend when it comes to this kind of stuff, but most of it can be found via the forum vendors. JBSPEED, E92Lighting, SVConcepts(JlevisW), etc.
The M3 lip spoiler from ebay seems to be very popular, it's $59 painted and shipped. About the headlights, you have Pre-LCI Halogens. The only way to get AE's would be to get a headlight replacement, either OEM or Aftermarket. LCI Xenons would be your best option, but requires a little work. LCI Halogens will be plug and play and still have AE's, but the headlight is still halogen. TischerBMW also carries low-cost OEM parts. I highly reccomend them. Remember to always go OEM when you can, I and many others have learned the hard way. Do it right, or not at all. |
