d1s bulb $45 (from the maker of oem)
Modmy3.com has these d1s for $45/pair and they claim that these are from the same factory that makes BMW bulbs. What do you think?

Unless it says OSRAM or Philips its not OEM. They just said they get them from the "factory" that makes OEM. There is a reason the D1s cost $90+ everywhere else. There is the real deal and then there is everything else.
I know there are a handful of guys that have tried ebay d1s and blown ballast. Not sure if its worth the risk. |

D1S for 45$ a pair? never! You can't even buy 1 original philips or osram at wholesale price for that amount. Right now the best bulb available is the OSRAM Cool Blue Intense Xenarc, which you can get at www.motivemods.com

Show us the label on the bulb!
never say never though. I bought a pair of OSRAM 66144 D1S from amazon (not amazon marketplace) for under $50. But price jumped back to $90 a day later. lol. It is genuine and bright as hell. Go with OSRAM or Philips like rollinstone157 said. |
