I don't get what's the big deal with high mileage cars. They go cruise on the highway for a couple hours a day at a quarter throttle all warmed up at a proper temperature.
Tell me about the guy who's racked up 50,000 miles on his bmw doing 1-2 mile commutes at a time; i can only imagine the stress put on that person's car.

i'm at 99k right now, still running well (there were some issues w/ the ticking noise, but it hasn't returned since i was at about 23k miles). interior is ok, but the driver seat hasn't worn as well the cloth seats i had in my previous cars...

Your totally right. Fwy miles are very easy on a car I will take a high mile fwy driven car over a low mile city stop and go car any day.
