335 Coupe - Door won't close
Hi All -
To preface, I have CA installed in my 335. When I tried to close the driver side door this morning after getting out, the door won't close. There was a loud "clunk" sound as if the seat belt is in the way (but it is not). After trying the close it a second time (a lot slower this time) to no avail, I realized the door HAD been in the lock mode so I guess the hook in the door is hitting the latch on the car body. I had to pull on the door handle in order to close the door properly. My guess is my hand some how triggered the door to be locked, but I thought that isn't possible if the door is open. Anyway, I just wanted to see what you guys think or have experienced before. Cheers. |

Never had this happen on my car with CA. Are you sure it isn't the "door handles stick when cold" issue some people have had? Sounds like similar symptoms.
EDIT - looks like you're in SoCal, so probably not.

This used to happen in cars long before CA or its equivalents were conceived. Usually chocked up to a rare alignment of celestial bodies (ie, extremely infrequent annoyance)
If it persists visit the dealership.
