Is that the same thing as Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection? If so, check out CarCareSmart.com (http://www.carcaresmart.com/). I see that they have a few Blackfire products.

Is the sealant really necessary or would a superior wax suffice? It sounds like the wax provides a superior shine. And is Blackfire worth the expense? Thanks.

Sealant has a great shine still, not the depth of some waxes but still very very glossy and shiny. Sealant lasts much much longer then wax though. I applied my BFWD in April and its still going good today, but I am going to do a detail next weekend anyway.

I used BFWD when I detailed my car in the fall. It's still holding up quite well (decent beading). It also looks really good. I would go as far and compare it to certain waxes.
I should be doing another detail within the next few weeks. I'm going with BFWD for sure.

Wax Recommendation to follow
What is a good inexpensive wax to follow BFWD? The Blackfire midnight sun cost arm and leg. I do have a bottle of Collinite 845 kicking around but I am worried about the bonding problem previously reported.

I use the BF spray on detail wax. Its price, $17ish for a bottle, but it lasts MUCH longer then a normal QD and it also looks damn good itself.
