E90 newbie

Hi there guys,
I'm from the Uk and just new to this scene. Ordered myself an E90 318i m-sport today so will be saying goodbye to my lovely cooper s in Febuary. I was wondering if there is anything i can do to tune the car abit. I test drove the 318 and it seemed pretty slow compared to my s, although it felt alot smoother and the ride was not harsh unlike the S.Anyone out there modified there 318? Any suggestions?

Jonny

Welcome! Yeah, the Cooper-S is going to have better acceleration compared to the BMW, but I think you'll definitely enjoy the 3er much better because overall it's a much nicer car. Congrats on your purchase.

No offence, but if you were disappointed with the 318's performance and are thinking of tuning it already, why didn't you order a bigger engine? Company car perhaps? Anyway, welcome to the board

i was originally going to spec up a 325 but it was too coslty plus i just had a baby girl so had to watch the money, so could only afford to spec up a nice 318. I like the 318, was just wondering if there is anything that i could do performance wise.

Welcome to the club. Try a search and I bet you find some performance mods...this website is quite extensive.
