loaner car question

just wanted to get a idea what people are getting for loaner cars when they take their car for service? i was suprised to get a dodge charger when i took mine in recently ... am i wrong to expect to get a loaner car that is the same model or even same brand as the car that i owned? i was so pissed driving that POS and watching other courtesy cars from lexus, acura, and mercedes drive by ...

usually its first come first serve on the bmw loaners. get to know your SA and appointment manager so that you always get the bmw loaners

1st time I took my car in for service they gave me a toyota corolla since thompson owns toyota and lexus dealerships as well. Since then though, I've only been in BMWs.

Yea i think you should really get to know your SA.
1st time I got a 7 series (huge car btw)
2nd 335xi
3rd x3 which I didn't like
and other times It's usually a 335xi

Good thing you got your car back.... Im sure it was uncomfortable driving something other than your Beast.

also note that BMW has a minimum age law (25+) and a deposit of 250 in order to get a BMW loaner. Keeps the young buck kids from trashin cars..which apparently doesnt help cuse adults twice the age do the same.

For the six years I have owned a BMW, I have gotten a BMW loaner every time I had my car in for service. They have always given me a current model year 5 series with xdrive, 3 series with xdrive, X3 or X5. I have never had to put any kind of deposit down.

+1, yeah they just need you to be 18, as long as you have insurance + credit card.

Im not 25 and I've never had to leave a deposit or had any problems getting a BMW as a loaner .

I've never had to give a credit card either. Just my license and insurance.
