Used on my 2017 m2. Have since sold the car and pulled the shifter. Super fun, direct, bolt action item weapon. Comes with shifter, shift rod, poly trans mounts (on for 5k miles), shift knob boot, brand new genuine BMW stock trans mounts $1,000. New CAE plus rod is $1,600 plus wait time Located in Willowbrook, IL (Chicago suburbs). Can ship at buyers expense Last edited by amerikosu; 03-19-2026 at 12:05 PM.. |

Picture of it mounted before I removed.
For those curious, the cup holders were not cut. The shop that did the install heated them with a heat gun, and shaped them around the shifter when mounted. When I reverted back to stock, there was hardly any trace of the CAE shifter being installed (only a slight deformation of passenger cup holder that could only be seen when really looking at it). Photo 2 is when I sold the car stock. Last edited by amerikosu; 01-12-2026 at 01:07 PM.. |

I cannot since I have since sold the car. Basically, passenger couldn’t put a drink in the cup holder since it had a bump. Otherwise you wouldn’t know it was there. I kept my remote for m performance exhaust in there
