BMW M2 Purchase Advice

Hello, sorry upfront for the wall of text. I was wanting some advice about my situation.

I bought a 2017 M2 with 56K miles on Carvana and I just had a PPI done yesterday and here is what they found:

- aftermarket boost tube installed, DME software is stock, ISTA did not detect any modification to software
- filter stand gasket oil leak 5/10 - must replace
- oil drain plug leaking oil, did not investigate further, must identify problem + fix - may need to rethread pan

- oil pan gasket seep 2/10 - wait
- rear differential passenger side seal seep 2/10 - wait
- both front wheels bent at inner edge, slight steering wheel vibration from this - recommend repair
- coolant slightly low, no visible leaks
- license plate mount, upped screw inserts torn out, must replace mount + screws
- front under tray connecting bumper cover to stiffening plate is missing recommend install along with missing hardware
- unusually rusty suspension parts including rear spring rust, no body rust visible at this time
- single horn tone working, recommend replace both horns as they typically fail due to corrosion
- hood + trunk struts weak, recommend replace

This looks like a lot to me but I've never bought a car like this or have had a PPI done before. Does this seem like normal wear and tear? Some of this looks like it isn't a big deal and I could fix myself. However I am pretty concerned about the parts I've bolded. I will include a photo of the quotes I received for the repairs, including a new oil pan if the one cannot be rethreaded. There is also some cosmetic damage but I wasn't too concerned about it.

Here is the link to the car I currently have: https://www.carvana.com/vehicle/3968728

I got nervous about this car and set up an exchage for a 2018 M2 with 63k miles also on Carvana. The service history looks much stronger on the 2018 and the price is almost the same, except for a shipping fee. However, I think it has more cosmetic issues. The front bumper looks resprayed to me and the back bumper doesn't look great.

Here is the one I have setup for exchange: https://www.carvana.com/vehicle/3984649

I love the car, but also don't want to make a terrible decision . One is manual and one is a DCT. I'm fine with either transmission. Should I stick with the 2017, or get the 2018 and have another PPI done? Or cancel the purchase all together?

None of these seem too crazy to me. Most are par for the course for BMW. Would Carvana fix the issues for you?

I would take the 2018 over the 2017 if the service history is better and the PPI comes back OK.

OK, that’s good to know. I asked Carvana if they would fix the issues or negotiate the price based on the issues, but they will not.

So, I have the 2018 coming on Tuesday and will call and schedule a PPI tomorrow. Hopefully, with the better service history, they won’t find anything too bad.

Be wary with the oil drain plug. Previous owner may have stripped the pan, and it can easily be a $3,000+ repair to replace it. If you're lucky it can be tapped with an oversized bolt once, but it's very likely it will continue to leak over time. Went through this myself last year. Wasn't fun.
