WM BMW M2 Nuke Performance Catch Can Bracket
Westersund Motorsport BMW M2 catch can bracket 3D-printed in glasfiber reinforced nylon (PA6-GF) to handle the heat from the exhaust manifold. Those of you that have tried to fit a catch can to your OG M2 knows that there's a lack of space to place a catch can. My solution to this problem was to utilize the OEM mounting locations on the firewall to install a 3D-printed mount onto which I could install a Nuke Universal Catch Can (0,25L) with 2x AN-10 ORB to 16 mm male hose connector. You can find it here: https://www.nukeperformance.com/prod.../catch-can-025 You will also need a bit more than 1 meter of silicone hose (I used reinforced to prevent it from kinking) with an inner diameter of 16 mm. I'll have to meassure for an exact total length, did this in a hurry before this years Nürburgring trip. The 16 mm ID hose will fit on the the OEM quick connectors on the valve cover and on the turbo inlet but the fit is tight. The price for a bracket is 60$ and all the hardware needed to fit the bracket will be included in the package. Shipping to the US and Canada is 16$ (up to 1 kg), might get down to 12$ (up to 0,25 kg) after I have weighed everything packed. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of the printed part once taken out of the printer, but you can see the stainless bracket of the Nuke catch can installed on it. ![]() Tight fit but it works, easy to install and remove/empty. ![]() The mount is installed in the 3 (red arrows) highlighted locations on the firewall. ![]() Here's some pictures of the CAD/3D-scan. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I'm afraid not, I don't think I can make one fit in the same location on an M2C/CS because of the intake pipe for the rear turbo.

Yea probably not. Super tight in that area. I know most catch cans for s55 are near the left headlight. Would be awesome to use the nuke can since it has a dip stick. Could use the dipstick hole to suck out the liquid with a mityvac.

You could get a turner Motorsport catch can, it has a dip stick (although the carbon brace blocks it) and a drain plug so you can use an external drain.

The Nuke Catch Can looks a little bigger than most that is placed beside the headlight, even if I had a car to scan I don't think I could get a Nuke to work in that location.

The accumulated amount of oil in the crankcase ventilation catch can after 1 summer worth of driving. If you think you don't need a catch can on your OG M2 you better think again! It's not a lot but I'd rather clean out my catch can than getting my intake valves coated.

Is the bracket 3d printed then? Or thats the prototype and you sell like a cnc’d version? That area sits right above the exhaust manifold/turbo. Surely its abit toasty?

It's 3D-printed in PA6-GF (glasfiber reinforced nylon), it has been holding up for 2 seasons so far on my car with many trackdays and a week at the Nürburgring, and daily driving. No sagging whatsoever.
