Buying a tuned car and flashing back to stock
Hey guys,
I've been shopping around for a M2 and came across one at a local dealership. It's got most of the features I want, namely 6 speed and slick top, but the previous owner made a couple of modifications. There's a tune and a high flow cat. The problem is the dealership doesn't know which company did the tune. If I want to flash it back to stock, is this going to be a PITA? The car itself only has around 55,000 km on it (34,000 miles) so I expect it to be in good shape otherwise. Apologies if this has been answered in a previous thread. I was having trouble finding an answer. |

Well, I went to check out the car and by the end the tune was the least of my worries. The front bumper wasn't aligned with the fenders, there was a crappy roof wrap that was starting to peel, the wheels had been powder coated black--and worst of all--the previous owner stuck a competition badge on the dashboard when it's an OG.
The hunt continues! |

Good choice. There are plenty of clean M2s to choose from. Good luck with the hunt, and keep us updated!

Why put a comp badge on an already awesome car in it's own right? Honestly.
