Intermittent electric power steering fault, 318d, e90 n47
Help guys, I've been experiencing an intermittent power steering issue. Sometimes works fine others I get the light on on the dash and power steering deactivates. There doesn't appear to be an apparent cause. Looked for leaks incase of water ingress. Nothing found. Checked plugs on motor for loose fittings and all seem solid and good condition. Driving me mad and also obviously quite dangerous as it becomes hard to control and happens without warning.
