Worth it to switch to the M performance floor mats?

That's purely a matter of personal taste, IMHO. For colder six months of the year, I need rubber floor liners (not mats), in order to retain water (melted snow) and to extend area protected from salt residue. For warmer months OEM carpet mats suit my needs/taste just fine. YMMV.

I went for weathertech ultimately even though I bought the performance ones. If you have a non “Michigan” climate it might be a nice purchase.

Definitely wouldn't want to use them with snow / salt but they're nice in summer. Reminds me I must take mine out and swap in the OEM ones for this weather
