Reinstalling an OEM wing what tape/adhesive?

Just like the title says. Im reinstalling, actually a purchased a carbon wing from a forum member, and I need to install it. I ordered 7/16ths 3M double sided tape, but it this going to be enough??

Second and most important question, is, how the hell do you get the old stuff off?

Ive done this with first a spray of the 3M adhesive remover and then a plastic scraper. It shouldn't be too hard. For the new 3M, just make sure the thickness is similar to what you are removing. Thicker and you might see the tape and thinner and the tape might not bite as well to the surface of the trunk.

I used this to remove the tape residue and was extremely easy. Carried at most auto supply stores like Autozone. But remember to use the drill at low speed when working on plastic or carbon fiber.
